Local Area Information

There are so many wonderful places to visit in Cornwall so here are just a few suggestions:-

The Lizard, a beautiful area for walking and which includes villages such as Cadgwith, Mullion, Coverack and of course famous beautiful coves such as Kynance Cove.  Helston which is a 10 minute drive away is known as the gateway to The Lizard area.

Lots of National Trust houses and gardens such as Godolphin, Glendurgan, Trengwainton, Lanhydrock and of course the famous St Michael's Mount which is only a 40 minute drive away.

Just too many beaches to mention but depending on what you enjoy you have the gentle South Coast and Helford River to explore or the North Coast with its dramatic cliffs and fabulous surfing.  Please note in the summer months some beaches do not allow dogs but the owners will be happy to let visitors know which beaches are best for dogs during these times.

If you prefer museums or visitor attractions there is of course the National Maritime Museum, Flambards and The Cornish Life Museum all a short drive away.
