Sadly due to Covid-19 we are not taking any bookings until further notice.  Stay safe, stay at home and we will look forward to seeing you all in the future.

For those already booked with us, so far all bookings until mid June have been postponed and we have already been in touch with those guests affected.   From that date we will be in touch with guests as future government guidance is released.  Our thoughts are with everyone at the moment and we thank every key worker for all that they do.

Halwin Lane Farm is situated on a quiet unmade farm lane well away from traffic and yet only a short walk to the village pub or bus stops and a short drive to nearby towns such as Helston (a beautiful historic town famous for Flora Day held on or very close to the 8th May every year) and Falmouth with their many shops and amenities.

The photo above shows Stithians Lake which is a wonderful location for water sports and walks.  It is just a 5 minute drive from Halwin Lane Farm.

The cottage adjoins the owners house who are always happy to advise on places to visit or things to do in the area.  The owners welcome well behaved dogs and they do not make extra charges for bringing your four legged friends with you.  There might be a restriction on the number of dogs but just contact the owners to discuss this.

The accommodation consists of a spacious open plan living room and kitchen with a good sized double bedroom, bathroom and outside space. The bedroom is large enough for an additional young child's bed on request (recommend suitable for under 7s). Alternatively if coming with a baby there is room for a travel cot and a high chair is available at no additional charges.

There is plenty of parking, a small enclosed garden and a lovely covered veranda perfect for coffee whatever the weather or indeed a great place to keep your Wellingtons.

Porkellis itself is a small village but has a lovely pub (The Star Inn) which serves excellent food.  Porkellis is ideal for touring as it is only a short drive in any direction to reach the coast, rivers or towns.  You will need your own transport to make the most of your holiday as buses only run through the village every hour or so.
